Goodbye Norwich Union!

The time has arrived and today, Norwich Union officially becomes Aviva.

Following high profile TV and outdoor media campaigns to educate the public to the change, Norwich Union becomes Aviva from today.

The brand is one of few that can claim to date back to the eighteenth century and was founded in the same year (1797) that Britain was last invaded and Nelson lost his arm!

The internal cost of the change must have been huge with a massive number of documents, websites, stationary and systems to change.  Incredibly the norwichunion.co.uk website has also been forwarded to aviva.co.uk

It seems incredible that such a well known brand would be replaced with Aviva, a name only born 9 years ago.
