Superquote.com will be holding personal data on its clients for the purposes of helping them find finance and insurance products.  People are , quite rightly, concerned about how personal data is used particularly in the light of losses of data by major companies and public bodies.

Fradulent usage of data is an issue and as a crime has been on the increase, although sometimes a little overblown as a risk in the media!   

We regard the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as imperative to the correct running of our business and important to building confidence with our partners, suppliers and customers.  We therefore need to ensure that our organisation treats personal information lawfully and correctly.

To this end, we fully endorse and adhere to the Principles of data protection, as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998.  We have registered with the Information Commissioners Office under number Z1642378.
