If you are going skiing or on a winter sports break at the end of this year, then insurance should be top of your list.

With the skiing season kicking off early due to heavy snow-fall, many UK holiday makers will be taking to the pistes. Many may be disappointed to find that their annual travel insurance supplied by their bank or credit cards will not cover the entire holiday.

Dedicated winter sports insurance policies will normally give additional cover over regular policies for things such as replacement skis, piste closure and search and rescue services.
